Piper started her first day at her new school today. It’s another year of preschool but it’s an advanced class for those who are older and missed the cutoff for kindergarden. She will go 5 days a week from 9:00am -Noon. On Tuesday night we went to an open house to meet her teachers and see her classroom. The teachers also sent a nice note to the students that arrived yesterday. All of this got her very excited for today. She was ready to go a half hour early. When we arrived in her classroom her eyes lit up at all the wonderful projects they had ready for the children. She kissed me good-bye and was ready to start the day. I think it’s going to be a good year! (Also, to note there are 9 girls in her class! Whoo-hoo!)
