We took a tour of the Shelby American Collection of cars today in Boulder. It’s dedicated to the legacy of Carroll Shelby and the Shelby American Team. The collection celebrates the rich heritage of the world’s most famous racing cars and includes Cobra, Shelby Mustang and Ford GT 40. These are the cars that changed the face of auto racing in the 1960s. There is also an extensive amount period photographs, memorabilia and tributes to the pioneer drivers and visionaries of the era. It was a great way to spend an afternoon!
OMG!! That’s amazing!, I’m a huge Carroll Shelby Fan and I’ve never heard of this museum. Have to put it on my list of places to visit. If you a couple hundred hours, I can tell you lots about Shelby and his cars. Thanks for sharing.
