We needed a day to recharge our batteries and the beach was the perfect spot.  It was an active day too!  We saw a few whales, lots of dolphins and a seal.  They were also shooting an episode of the TV show Scorpion which was cool to see.   Playing horseshoe  

The kids are on Spring Break this week.  Today we ventured out to Lancaster to see the Poppy Reserve.  It was just amazing and didn’t look real from afar.

We hiked to the waterfall which is just right up the road from our home.  It was a great year to do the hike with all the rain we’ve had.  We crossed this stream about 8 times until we got back to the actual falls. We finally made it!
