We had a very busy Halloween! After school we went to Sierra Madre to trick or treat at the store fronts and walk the costume parade. It’s very similar to what Beaver does. Then we headed to Nathan’s for dinner and more trick or treating around our neighborhood. It actually felt like a true Fall day which never happens on Halloween.

Happy Halloween!
This year Piper decided they should be Candy Corns for Halloween. She wanted to be able to use her sewing machine and make the costumes herself. They turned out cute. Piper did all the sewing and we helped cut the felt into the shapes. Piper wanted hers to be a dress and Andrew wanted to look like an actual Candy Corn.
Halloween at High Point
Today High Point celebrated Halloween with the Kinder parade and grades K-3 performing songs. The third grade wrapped up the festivities singing the traditional Monster Mash and Witches Brew. This is the last year for Piper to perform. Luckily the rain held off but we did get sprinkled on.Homemade candy corn costumes

Weekend Fun
We had a very productive weekend. Saturday we had baseball, haircuts and dinner with the neighbors. Then on Sunday Piper completed the Halloween costumes on her sewing machine. They are going to look so cute. We also took a trip to the Huntington and had dinner again with the neighbors. It started raining in the late afternoon. That storm created 3 rainbows and some thunder and lightening. Yay! for rain!
