It was a very beautiful day today.  We spent some of the afternoon at the Huntington and had a picnic lunch at home in our backyard.    Poor Andrew is in need of a haircut!

We are on day two of potty training Andrew.  It’s actually going considerably better than we thought.  He’s had a few accidents but is making it more times to the potty.  We still have a long way to go with keeping him dry at night but it’s a start! 

Aunt Becca joined us today for our last visit to Disney for awhile.  (Our pass is expiring very soon.)  It was a great day!  The weather was perfect and there was hardly a crowd.  We were able to ride so many rides and rides that we normally don’t go on.  The highlight of the day was driving the cars.  We went on this ride twice it was so fun!  A favorite for Andrew was riding the Rocket Ships and Piper’s favorite was meeting Jake from the Neverland Pirates.  Fun stuff!  It was so nice to share all this with Aunt Becca!  Thank you!

Recently Piper, Grandma and Grandpa have become pen pals.  Piper wrote them a few letters and Grandpa wrote back.  They’ve exchanged a few more letters too.  It’s a great way for Piper to practice her writing and spelling.  She just loves it!   A sample of the letters that have been exchanged.  The last letter to Grandma included photos too.
