Today we took Daddy up to the Reagan Library in Simi Valley. Piper insisted on doing everything the same as when we were there before. It was a beautiful day after some days of rain. We had a lot of fun.

Miss you, Grandma!
Day Trip to Santa Barbara
We made a trip up to Santa Barbara to enjoy the wonderful weather. The kids played frisbee and looked for shells. For lunch we ate at the Rose Cafe which we haven’t been to in years. We also checked out the bluff at the Douglas Family Preserve where we saw a school of dolphins. Then before driving home we played a little more on another beach. The kids enjoyed every minute and hope to do it all again soon. The bluff at the Douglas Family Preserve. What a view!!
Welcome back, warmth!
Day Trip to the Mountains
We headed up to the mountains to see some snow today. It was only about a 45 minute drive out to Mt. Baldy. The kids had fun making snowballs and seeing the snow. It’s been so cold here lately that it didn’t feel that cold up at the top. We had lunch at the Mt. Baldy Lodge before going home. They had delicious hot chocolate with tons of marshmallows. Piper took this photo for us. Grandma enjoying one of the last day trips before she heads back home. We really need to invest in mittens for Andrew.Yummy hot chocolate!
