Happy Halloween!

Piper had the great idea to be salt and pepper shakers for Halloween.  Their costumes are pillowcases that we altered for the head and arms. Then we cut out and glued the felt letters.  The hats are chef hats from the dollar store that we spray painted and attached felt circles on top.  Happy Halloween!DSC_0405 DSC_0401 DSC_0412 DSC_0414 DSC_0400 DSC_0421 (1)

Trick or Treat in Sierra Madre

This afternoon we went to the adorable town of Sierra Madre for their Fall Festival.  The stores gave out candy, they had a parade and a costume contest.  It felt like we were back in Beaver but it was warm and sunny.  (haha)  The kids had so much fun!  Piper had the great idea of being salt and pepper this year.  They received so many compliments on their costumes as we walked around.  They also got so much candy!

Apple Pie

Piper and Daddy made an Amelia Bedelia apple pie this morning.  The dough was really easy to work with and Piper even made a flower as a decoration for the center.  She is looking forward to sharing this recipe with Grandma.  A close second to the Snitger apple pie…IMG_8204 IMG_8202
