Piper had the great idea to be salt and pepper shakers for Halloween. Their costumes are pillowcases that we altered for the head and arms. Then we cut out and glued the felt letters. The hats are chef hats from the dollar store that we spray painted and attached felt circles on top. Happy Halloween!

Trick or Treat in Sierra Madre
This afternoon we went to the adorable town of Sierra Madre for their Fall Festival. The stores gave out candy, they had a parade and a costume contest. It felt like we were back in Beaver but it was warm and sunny. (haha) The kids had so much fun! Piper had the great idea of being salt and pepper this year. They received so many compliments on their costumes as we walked around. They also got so much candy!

Mickey’s Halloween Party
We went to Disneyland to celebrate Mickey’s Halloween party. They close the park down at 6pm to a set number of tickets which makes the crowds tolerable. There is trick or treating around the park, the lines to the rides are very short and it’s all decorated for Halloween. They have a special parade and firework show but we couldn’t stay that long. It was so much fun. Since the kids are older we rode different rides. Not all the new rides were liked by the the little ones…
