Merry Christmas. Our day started off with the kids getting up around 8:00AM which was very nice. We opened stockings and then Santa’s presents. He left the kids many wonderful things including a scooter for Piper and a mini basketball hoop for Andrew. The rest of the day was spent playing with the new toys. We enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner and later a visit from Aunt Becca and Will.
Merry Christmas Eve! This evening after church we opened up presents from Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. The kids were so excited to finally open up the gifts and can’t wait for Santa’s arrival.

The day before Christmas Eve Piper and Grandma made cookies for us to decorate.
Then we all decorated them during the afternoon on Christmas Eve. After that Grandma and Piper watched Frosty together (which is Grandma’s favorite). 
Andrew was very into decorating cookies this year.
For making a Gingerbread House with Grandpa and Grandma…

and hanging out with Aunt Becca
and getting pretend earrings from Aunt Becca!
Tis the season for lots of fun!
Santa made a special visit to one of our favorite restaurants tonight. Piper was happy to see him but Andrew still wasn’t sure. A local high school choir sang Christmas songs while we were eating too. We walked around our City Hall to look at the lights before dinner.
