We had a very busy day today. In the morning we went to the zoo and walked around. Then we met our friends Erin and Caden in Griffith Park after lunch. Piper and Caden were so excited to see each other. The kids rode the train and Piper rode a pony. What fun!
On the Train
We love our local ice cream truck, The Ice Princess. She comes around only in the summer in an adorable pink truck with lots of goodies for the children. (Yes, that is Andrew in his p.j.’s. He just woke up from his nap)
Today we took a trip to Underwood Farms to play and pick fresh fruits and veggies. We went along with our friends Emily, Mike, Jack and baby Liam.

Piper and Andrew went to a week of summer school at Piper’s preschool. It was only 3 days this week from 9 – noon. We wish the kids could have done more weeks together because they both had such a great time. Andrew loved being there with his big sister. He mostly stuck close to her side. Piper also took great care of him by staying close. She would lead him around by the hand. Before snacktime they have the little kids go into a separate room to get cleaned up while the big kids use the bathrooms. Piper asked if she could be with her brother in the room. They said yes after she washed up. At snack and song time they sat together. It was adorable! They really love each other so much.

Tonight we enjoyed another wonder evening at the Huntington. We packed a picnic dinner and strolled through the gardens. After that we listened to the live music while the kids ran around playing.
