Happy Halloween!

Piper had a Halloween celebration at her school today.  It started with the kids parading around the parking lot, then they went trunk-or-treating and had a party afterwards in their classroom.  We unfortunately lost Piper’s strawberry hat.

Trick or Treat

Piper and Andrew had fun trick-or-treating.  We went to our friend Emily’s for a light dinner before heading out to get candy.   It was pretty quiet on our street so our neighbors were very happy to see us.  Piper gladly accepted candy for Andrew too.

In the photo about are Mike the Green Lantern, Jack the pirate, Piper, Jackson and our Pumpkin Andrew.

Our sweet neighbor Barbara brought over some jello treats for the kids

Boo at the Zoo

The zoo had fun Halloween festivities for the kids today.  Piper was able to do a little trick-or-treating and we saw lots of animals.  Piper dressed as Dora.  Andrew had to stay in the stroller most of the time because it was crowded.  He can be a wild man when he’s set free…

It was a pretty warm day so Piper cooled off in the misters

A Long Day

Last Tuesday mommy had to fly up to San Francisco for the day.  A few of her colleagues were going to be working in that office and asked her to join them.  She had to leave before the kids woke up in the morning.  Unfortunately she got home too late to see Andrew at all that day.  Piper was allowed to stay up past her bedtime so she could say goodnight to mommy.

The kids had a fun time with our sitter.  She took them to the mall where they played at the indoor playground.  Then they had lunch there. She let Piper have a special treat at the candy store before heading home.

During the day Piper drew a picture of her and mommy.  It shows the two girls with their purses., painted nails and pink eye lashes.  There are also lots of other details including a blue sky, sun, butterfly, flowers, rainbow and tree.
