This morning we went out to Underwood Farms for the PYOR event. It’s only one weekend during the summer. You can pick a pound of Roma tomatoes for 25 cents! We loaded up and are looking forward to making many dishes.

We met daddy for lunch at Sony Studios today. It was a great day to be out and about there. 
After lunch we had ice-cream and walked around the lot.

Enjoying some of our last evenings of summer with an ice-cream treat. There is a new place that opened a couple blocks from us. The kids gave it a thumbs up.
Some of the girls from Piper’s 1st grade class got together for a playdate before school starts. It was fun to see everyone again. School starts in two weeks on September 4th!
I was organizing our Washington trip photos and realized we forgot to make a post about GBD. GBD stands for Golden Brown and Delicious. This restaurant was featured on Food Channel’s Unique Sweet show. Piper loves to watch the Food channel and has watched this show over and over. Right away she knew she wanted to visit after seeing all the delicious looking donuts they make. We made a stop with Jeff and were not disappointed!
