We saw lots of animals on our trip. This little guy strolled right by our car on the way to the lighthouse. There were so many deer along the countryside. We even had two in our backyard one night. We were so lucky and spotted a pod of 4 whales swimming by. White tail deer Tule Elk And lots and lots of cows! This group was right along the road and not behind any sort of fence. I guess this is how the Point Reyes Seashore Cows live. They also had a nice view of the ocean.

We had a wonderful time in Marin County. The scenery was so beautiful. We just relaxed and enjoyed every minute. It was a great way to celebrate a birthday. Had a birthday lunch in Sonoma Fresh oysters right out of Tomales Bay where we stayed. We shucked them ourselves. Can’t get much fresher than that. High Point Spring Concert
High Point’s annual Spring Concert was this morning at school. They are celebrating their 50th anniversary so the concert music spanned over the 50 years. First and second grade sang several songs from the 70’s. It was a lot of fun. The kids also made tie dyed shirts last week just for the celebration. Piper is in the back close to the middle
