Thanksgiving Day Weekend

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend together.  It was all so relaxing that we didn’t get around to taking many photos.  Thanksgiving day was a nice day.  We spent the afternoon at our neighbors and then enjoyed a delicious turkey meal.  The rest of weekend was filled with visiting with friends, riding bikes, decorating for Christmas, going to the LA auto show and watching the Steelers.  Back to the routine tomorrow…DSC_0300 In my new Steeler hat with my blue bearIMG_3953 Having fun at the auto showIMG_4293 Playing at Nathan’s houseIMG_3949 Snuggling with GrandpaIMG_3952Our awesome neighbor Mike entertaining us Saturday evening

Grandparent’s Day at High Point

Piper’s school had a special Grandparents event today.  It was really nicely done.  Grandpa and Grandma had breakfast together with Piper and then they toured her classroom.  They were able to meet with the teacher and see all the things are learning. Thanksgiving snacks

The first grade celebrated Thanksgiving a little early with a pie party.  Piper volunteered to bring in a pumpkin pie which she made from scratch (with a little help from daddy).  I should note that they are eating outside.  They eat lunch everyday at these tables which are always outside.  If it rains they eat at their desks. IMG_4271 Then she had a surprise guest.  Grandpa and Grandma arrived today and we are looking forward to a great visit with them.  Stay tuned for more pictures.IMG_4277
