Today we headed to the beach to get out of the heat.  If only we could have escaped the traffic too.  It took forever to get there and back but was worth it.  The kids had a blast!  The rode the waves practically the whole time we were there.  Next year we need to get boogie boards.  We even found some sand dollars 

We escaped to the Sierra Madre pool to beat some of the heat.  It’s been in the 100’s here.  Yuck!  Today the kids learned how to do somersaults almost by accident.  Andrew can do forward and backwards ones.  Fishes!

We are finally back in Pasadena.  Our day of travel went really well except it was very hard to leave Beaver.  The kids were great travelers and excited to see Daddy! On Saturday he took the kids out to pick tomatoes.  They had a blast and now we are enjoying eating them.
