Piper spent the weekend hanging out with good friends.  On Saturday night she spent the late afternoon with Ben.  It was so nice to get the kids together again and see how they’ve grown.  Then on Sunday she had dinner at Jackson’s with Preston.

We can’t believe how much Piper is growing.  She can do so much by herself now.  One place we really notice the change is at the park.  There is no fear going down the slides, swinging or climbing up on to things.  She’s still cautious but has much more confidence.  Piper also loves to do things all by herself now or at least try.  Some examples are putting on her shoes and getting dressed.  Another big favorite is singing, she’s constantly singing a song or reciting a story into a song.  Plus she can’t get enough climbing and jumping all over the place.  Bouncy houses are a bit hit!!  She takes a two hour afternoon nap everyday which we hope continues.  We love seeing her grow but makes us a bit sad at times because it seems to be happening all so fast.

The sun is finally back although it’s still pretty chilly.

Piper gets to see her friends every week at a few different playdates.  It’s great she has such a great group of friends to hang out with.
