We received an unexpected amount of snow Monday morning. They were calling for a dusting and we got over 3 inches. It took everyone by surprise, even the schools because there was not a delay. The storm arrived around 7:00 am and it just kept snowing until about 11:30 am. We were all so happy to see it!
Piper participated in the second district spelling bee and was the spelling bee champion! There were 40 students competing from 4 schools. It was amazing to watch get closer to the championship round. The other girl who made it to this round was also from Swigert. Piper worked very hard studying the words and we are so proud! The winning word was fubsy which means fat and squat.
There was a snow storm that blew in that morning making it a little treacherous getting to the school.

Andrew had a fun morning at The Craftsman and Apprentice. He made a trophy and little robots today. He also hung out with his buddy Max.
We went to the Ice Castle in Dillon and it was amazing to see at night. It was so much fun to walk around. There was even a fountain and ice slides!
