We had a wonderful trip to State College. It was so nice to show the kids around where mom’s grandparents lived and where she went to school. We toured the campus, ate at our favorite places and did a little shopping. It is a very special place that hasn’t changed all that much. The only bad thing is the Nittany Lion was under construction.
Old Main. The kids loved hearing the clock chime.
The Creamery
Center of town
The Tavern for dinner
Corner Room for lunch
The Pattee Paterno Library
The closest we could get to the Nittany Lion
Beautiful walk up the mall

Kennywood!
We had a blast at Kennywood with Grandpa, Grandma, Aunt Susie and Uncle Jack. The kids loved riding all the rides especially those in Kiddie Land. I couldn’t believe how brave they were. Piper even went on the Log Jammer with Grandpa! Mommy was able to ride a few roller coasters too and enjoy some fries from the Potato Patch. It was such a fun day!!!!baby turtle ride
baby whip ride
The kids loved the lil’ phantom and could be ready for some big coasters soon. They had to ride this twice as with most of the rides.
Riding with Uncle Jack
Big turtle ride
The big hit for Piper was riding the log jammer with Grandpa. She went on it twice and probably many more times if allowed.
A great day spent with family!
CousinTime
On our way home from the Shore we stopped to visit my cousin Katie, her husband Lucas and my Aunt Caroleanne. (Uncle David was attending a reunion). I have not seen them in forever!! The best part was meeting Brady who is a month and a half younger than Andrew. It was so wonderful to catch up. The kids played really well together and we hope not as much time passes until we meet up again. Andrew, Piper and Brady
The Snitger Gang. Missing is Uncle David and Lucas who was taking the picture.
