My friend Shannon was in La Jolla over the weekend visiting friends who own a home there.  I was able to go down on Saturday and spend the night.  It was so great to see her. Daddy and the kids surprised me this weekend. They planned lunch at the Huntington Gardens and then a spa day in the afternoon.  Piper and Andrew also made cards, helped with dinner and helped make homemade German Chocolate Cake.  Delicious!  It was all so thoughtful!  Cards from Andrew Card from PiperCake (that is supposed to say mom on top:)
