Lazy Friday

The worst storm of the season rolled in on Friday.  Luckily the kids had the day off with Presidents Day weekend.  We hunkered inside all day and enjoyed the rain.

Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s Day. We joined the teddy bear picnic with Andrew and his classmates for lunch.  The students made their own sandwiches and we all gathered together on the playground.  After lunch the class paraded around the school showing off their bears. Super Saturday

Another busy Saturday.  Both kids took a class on baking today at Saute Academy.  Andrew has an interest in baking now too and he had a great time.  After the class we had lunch at the Panda Inn then it was time for soccer.  Chopping strawberries for strawberry shortcake

Cross Stitching

Piper and I went to a cross stitching class.  It was a refresher course for me because I learned how to cross stitch from Aunt Joyce when I was little.  We had so much fun!  Piper completed her first project and is already on to another.  The class also inspired me.

United We Stand

The third grade performed their United We Stand play this morning.  Unfortunately they had to do it inside because of the rain.  It was really cute and came together nicely.  Piper was a narrator and had a singing part.  Eliana and Piper  Francesca and Eliana after the show
