We took Piper to Meow Wolf on Friday to celebrate her birthday. This is their third permanent exhibition that just opened in Denver. I’m not sure how to describe it but this is what it said on the website: Meow Wolf Convergence Station is unforgettable, transformational, and not to be missed. Discover immersive psychedelic, mind-bending art and an underlying rich narrative as you take a journey of discovery into a surreal, science-fictional epic. It was interesting and we all really enjoyed it! We stopped at Alloy Thai on the way home for dinner.

We are so excited for Fall! Today we went up to Ya Ya Farms for their delicious apple cider donuts. Then we headed over to Lyons for some cherry pie at the Colorado Cherry Company. It was a very sweet treat filled day. We ended in Estes and saw the famous elk hanging around the lake.

Piper is so glad there is swim team this Fall. She’s doing it with her friend Kate.

We were fortunate enough to see the Union Pacific’s “Big Boy No. 4014” Locomotive that is spending the night in Denver before heading up to Cheyenne. It’s the world’s largest, restored steam engine and was last in the state in November 2019.
