Andrew is learning about animals this month at school.

We are finally experiencing Fall like weather.  It’s been wonderful!

On Monday we went to the Huntington (again!) to roam around.  It was cloudy and even sprinkled a bit while we were eating lunch.  Probably not the best day to see the gardens but the kids had fun!   Getting some energy out  Rain over the Chinese Gardens Sun is starting to peak out Rain up at our house but the sun is shining where we areExhibit of lightbulbs

Daddy and Piper took a cooking class with pumpkin at the Huntington.  They made pumpkin ice-cream, pumpkin butter, pumpkin bread and pumpkin soup.  After that they had lunch in the Chinese gardens and played a game of checkers using acorns and dried leaves.    Checkers

Piper had the great idea to be salt and pepper shakers for Halloween.  Their costumes are pillowcases that we altered for the head and arms. Then we cut out and glued the felt letters.  The hats are chef hats from the dollar store that we spray painted and attached felt circles on top.  Happy Halloween!
