We visited our Santa at the Huntington today. It was another great experience. This year we saw Piper’s friend Karolina. After the visit we walked around the Chinese gardens.

This evening we enjoyed the wonderful holiday lights at the Americana. We did a little shopping, took a trolley ride and even saw a friend from Piper’s school. The weather was just right and it wasn’t very crowded. A great night to be out.

Mommy volunteered for library at Piper’s school today. The librarian reads them a story then the kids have a chance to pick out a book they would like to read for the week. Piper picked out a book in the Amber Brown series.
We enjoyed the annual Champagne and Shopping day at the Huntington Gardens. It was a little bit on the wet side this year but they did have tents up to keep us dry. We only have a few photos from the photo booth since it was raining out. It was a fun event even though the sun wasn’t shinning. 
What a wonderful day of steady rain. We aren’t sure Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed it as much but the sun will be back soon.
