We’ve been having fun exploring Central Park.  Today we rode our bikes over. The kids climbed up the rock formation, did some swinging and hung out at Sled Ride Hill.  On Thursday Piper and I also walked around and enjoyed while Andrew was at soccer practice.  Playing checkers at the top of Sled Ride Hill  Also a great spot to read Harry Potter  On Thursday Piper and I walked around checking out the sights while Andrew was at soccer practice. The top of Sled Ride Hill It was beautiful watching the storms all around us.  Looking down on to the soccer field After Central Park we went to the Stanley for an Arts Festival.  They had a booth set up for kids to listen to music and create art.  

Sunday’s adventure was a day trip to the town of Evergreen. We had lunch with a view over looking the lake then did some hiking in Three Sisters Park.

Andrew had his first soccer game on Saturday.  Then we rode our bikes to Next Door in East Bridge for dinner.  Fun!

Piper’s class took a field trip to Young AmeriTowne.  There they teach banking, business and economics in a fun and hands-on way.  They have activities that introduce concepts such as supply and demand, job skills and work habits, banking procedures, democratic processes, civic consciousness, and career readiness.  The kids work in their hired positions to run their business successfully.  On breaks they spend their hard earned salaries around town and track expenditures in their personal checking accounts. It was a great experience.  Piper worked in the Medical Center as a Health Technician.  Showing her checks and deposit slip for her paycheck.
