It’s been very warm here so on Monday I let the kids have an ice cream treat after school. Looks like it’s going to cool down by the middle of the week again.  Our fingers are crossed!

I helped out in the Kinder library today.  It was fun hanging out with Andrew.  The librarian has some of the older children in charge of specific shelves.  We found Piper’s today.

We have been super busy the last couple of weeks.  There have been numerous playdates, baseball practices, and hanging out with friends and family.  I will try to take more pictures going forward of all the fun. The kids were not ready to get up today.  If only they could sleep in on the weekends!

We had a little taste of Fall weather over the weekend so we took advantage and went apple picking.  This has become a favorite family tradition.  We picked lots of Granny Smith’s this time for yummy desserts.  We also discovered a pumpkin patch that we will explore more next year.   Silliness Cuteness

Our local NPR station KPCC had an open house on Saturday.  It was really neat to tour the studios and see where the stories get made.  We also got to meet some of the familiar voices we listen to each day.    Air Talk with Larry Mantle studioTake 2 work area
