Tomato Picking at Underwood Farms

We headed out to the farm for our annual pick your own Roma tomatoes.  This has become a fun family tradition.  This year the weather was nice and cool.  We made lots of yummy tomato dishes all weekend long and shared them with our friends.  IMG_1116 IMG_1072 (1) IMG_1138 IMG_1077 IMG_1094 (1) IMG_1135 IMG_1134 IMG_1082 IMG_1083 (1) IMG_1111 IMG_1112 IMG_1128

First Day of School – Kindergarten and 3rd Grade

IMG_1010It’s the first day of school!  They ease the kids into it by starting everyone off with a halfday. Andrew reported back that his day was GREAT!  Piper also had a great day and is excited about 3rd grade. It’s hard to believe they are getting so big.  Time is just flying by.IMG_1045 Seems like yesterday that Piper was starting KindergartenIMG_1030 IMG_1026 IMG_1021 IMG_1049 IMG_1016 IMG_1051 (1) IMG_1054 IMG_1062 Andrew’s classroomIMG_1064 IMG_1065 (1) Piper’s classroom.  We didn’t have much time for pictures after getting Andrew settled.IMG_1067 (1)Celebrating the first day with an ice cream treat

Meet the Teachers

Piper and Andrew were able to meet their teachers and take another look at their classrooms today.  Tomorrow is the first day of school!IMG_0991Andrew with Mrs. Vernon.  It’s neat to see how bare her walls are.  By the end of the year they will be filled with all the work done by the children.  We are looking forward to a great year!IMG_0988 IMG_0987 Piper showing Andrew around the classroomIMG_0982 IMG_0995 Piper’s teacher is Mrs. FlanaganIMG_0993 IMG_0997With good pal Nathan.  They have been in the same class 4 years in a row.
