We spent the afternoon up in Estes Park enjoying all the sights. We had lunch by the lake, strolled the downtown and had pie. The highlight of the trip was watching the Elk wonder around the golf course. Apparently they are there everyday. They groundsmen herd them around so the golfers can keep golfing. The male of this group of females had the biggest rack we had ever seen. What a treat!

Today was the last day to swim at the pools. Each pool ends the summer with a D.J. It’s a lot of fun! Looks like summer is officially over.
Piper and our neighbor Bela started a bookclub together. They are currently reading The Unwanteds.

Fall soccer season has begun!
Piper attended an overnight camp with her class at Balarat. The kids collaborated through numerous obstacles on the low ropes course, completed a solo night hike, and swung through the air over a gorge. She had a great time!
