Ice Cream Popsicles in January? Only when it’s sunny and 54 degrees.

There was a Ice Pop food truck in our neighborhood.

We had a fun evening even though it didn’t feel like New Years Eve. The kids made chicken and waffles for dinner and they made homemade confetti poppers out of a toilet paper roll, a balloon and confetti. We also did a family escape room kit from Escape the Crate that Piper got for Christmas. That kept us busy the whole evening. Then we called Grandma at midnight her time to ring in the new year with our confetti poppers. We were hoping that could be it but the kids really wanted to stay up until midnight our time to see 2021 right from the start. They again exploded their confetti poppers. Happy New Year!
We decided to make a whole event out of the Ice Castles and enjoy a night in Breckenridge. We stayed at a lodge up on the mountain that had great views! The kids did some sledding in the afternoon and at night. We also enjoyed the hot tub even though it was very windy and snowy.
