Sunflower Farms

Sunday we took a drive out to Sunflower Farms in Longmont.  The kids were able to get up and personal with the animals and even feed them.  They also had lots of areas to play and relax in.

A Snowy Birthday

A late snow blessed us today on my birthday.  This is typical Spring weather for Denver.  We have one more chance for snow before Mother’s Day.

Garden of the Gods Adventure

Sunday’s adventure was a trip to Colorado Spring and The Garden of the Gods.  It was a gorgeous day to see the red rocks against the brilliant blue skies.  The kids had fun climbing in the rocks.  We had lunch in Manitou Springs which is a cute little town and went to the Pickle Shack off of Pikes Peak.  Being from Pittsburgh we needed to check this quirky pickle place out.  I apologize for the amount of photos but there was so much beauty today.

Piper’s Weekend in California

Piper had a wonderful opportunity to attend daddy’s work on Thursday for Take Your Daughter to Work Day.  She flew all by herself on Wednesday and was greeted by daddy at the gate.  Then they rushed off to do an escape room with Brianna, Aunt Becca and Uncle Tom.  The next day she went to work and had a great time.  They had mini projects for the kids to do in the morning and a lunch.  Thursday she spent the day with our good friend Laura and saw her school friend Francesca.  It was a whirlwind of a trip but she had so much fun! Trying to master the escape room.  Good times on the Sony Lot  Making blankets for a kitten shelter  Laura! Little Rory!
