Piper took a knitting class with some of her friends.
It’s starting to feel like Spring.
Doing a craft at a Craft Truck.
Skiing last weekend at Eldora. The weather was just perfect!
Piper and Andrew were both nominated this month for IB Traits in Caring and Principled at their school. Piper was nominated by her class and Andrew by his teacher. Earlier in the school year Piper was nominated for the IB trait of Risk Taker. They get their picture placed on the wall for the whole month.
Piper also received an achievement in music for composing the best jingle in all four 5th grade classes.
We experienced blizzard conditions with strong gusts today in Denver. School was called off and we all hunkered in for the day. The kids went out for a bit but that didn’t last long. After the winds died down we went out to check out all the cool snow drifts and do a little sledding. Then the winds picked up again.
Getting blown away…
Swim goggles helped!
Trying to shovel out from the snow drifts.
Sledding before the winds picked up again.
Love the symbol for blizzard
Friday was a big day for Andrew. His second grade class presented their innovation ideas for the library to the PTA. He was chosen as a presenter and took his job very seriously. The whole class did a wonderful job and the PTA is moving forward with their plans.
We got more snow Friday night into Saturday. The kids had fun making a snowman.
We also went sledding that evening.

Peace out
