We spent two days skiing in Snowmass.  The first day the kids took a lesson and on the second day they were ready to ski the mountain.    They had smores stations set up after the day was over.  Yum!  Started our day off at 11,000 feet! It was snowing on Tuesday so the visibility wasn’t so great but the fresh powder was!

We headed to Basalt for the long weekend.  We enjoyed the hot springs in Glenwood Spring.  They have the largest hot spring pool.  Hanging out in the town of Aspen on giant mounds of snow.  Evening stroll in Balsalt.

The strike was over early this morning so the kids were able to go back to school today!  Just in time for the Valentine’s Day parties.  I was able to help out which is always fun!

Tuesday we skied at Eldora because the teachers are unfortunately on strike.  We had the place to ourselves.  The kids did so well that we stayed on the main part of the mountain for the afternoon.  We can’t wait to go back! The view is great from the top! Tackling the intermediate slopes!

We went to the Eldora Ski Resort on Saturday and worked on our turns.  The kids did great and picked it up quickly.  Our last run of the day was on an intermediate hill where we got to take the big chair lift up.
