This morning we said good-bye to Grandma and thanked her for all of her help!  It was so nice having her out and hope we get to see her again soon.

Piper will miss story time.  As soon as she saw Grandma holding up a book, she would dash straight over to her. This was Piper’s favorite thing with Grandma.  Other favorite things included sharing snacks, pointing out her buttons and getting lots of hugs and kisses.

Piper helped her friend, Talulah, celebrate her first birthday today.  The party was at an indoor jungle gym for tots.  Piper had a great time playing in the balls and sliding down the big slide.  She also really enjoyed the pizza which was a first for her.  Daddy had to get another slice because she ate more than half of his first one. 

Aunt Becca joined us for dinner tonight which was such a treat.  She had fun being silly with Piper and even taught her where her toes are.  Thanks for coming over!

Today, we took a trip to the mall so Piper could ride on the carousel.  She enjoyed every minute and didn’t want it to stop.  As you can see in the posed photo she’s pretty bummed the ride was over. 

On Thursday night Piper took her first few steps.  It was so exciting to watch.  First it was just one or two steps but she worked up to about four in a row.  She’s still not 100% confident but she is making progress.  We are so glad Grandma is here with us to see first hand.
