This afternoon Piper took Grandpa to the Huntington Gardens.  They saw lots of ducks, fish and some turtles.  It was a beautiful day for walking around the gardens.  Afterwards, they went to Lacy Park.  What a fun afternoon.

Piper took Grandpa to the zoo which is a favorite place of hers.  It was a very warm day but we all had fun.

Grandpa and Piper spent the afternoon outside enjoying the summer-like weather.  They took a ride in the wagon to get ice-cream and watered the flowers in the backyard.  These are two of Piper’s favorite things.

Grandpa is out to visit us for a week.  He arrived in time for the great warm weather.  Piper was so thrilled to see him that she didn’t even take a nap.   (We let her know that Grandma is home watching Squeaky.)  She’s been showing Grandpa around talking nonstop.  The two have been inseparable all day.
