We saw a rainbow on our way home from our walk this afternoon.

Piper couldn’t wait to make cookies this weekend.  We called Grandma for the best homemade sugar cookie and icing recipe.  These are the same cookies Grandma used to make with mommy when she was little.  Piper helped mix the dough together, cut out the cookies and iced them.  Yummy!

We spent the afternoon hanging out with Caden and his mom.  It was so nice to see them!

Starting last week Piper has been staying for lunch at school on Thursdays.  They offer an extended day for the kids which always includes a fun activity after they rest. Her teachers say she really opens up during this time because it’s not as structured.  She loves it.
