The Firemen made a special visit to our mom’s club meeting this morning.  They work on forest fires and not in our local community which is why their truck is green.  The kids got to get inside the truck, try on the coats and hats and spray the hose.  Piper and Andrew decided to play in the water.  Only these two!  (Also, Piper thought we were going to the ice-cream shop so that is why she is all decked out in her party girl dress)

It was a scorcher today.  Almost too hot to do anything so we waited until late afternoon to turn the sprinkler on.  The kids loved it!

We couldn’t let summer end without a trip to the beach.  Although we kind of cheated by going to Mother’s Beach which is basically a part of the bay.  It’s nice because there aren’t waves making it fun for the kids.  Today we met our friends Erin and Caden.

Now this is the life….
