After School Fun

This afternoon we went to the Arboretum with two girls from Piper’s class.  It was so beautiful! It was so bright that the girls wore their mom’s sunglasses for this photo

Back in Pasadena

We arrived safely back in Pasadena but not without some stress.  Our flight out of Pittsburgh was delayed over an hour due to a mechanical issue.  They were nice and let us off until it was fixed.  But this didn’t leave us much time to make our connection.  The kids and I had to run 50 some gates to our next flight.  With 20 gates to go we were all crying and I didn’t think we were going to make it.  Finally someone helped us at the end to get us there.  Dave had to wait for our stroller so he was way behind.  Even with the delay the kids did great.  We were very happy to have made that flight and to be back at home.

What a great trip we had!  It was nice playing in the warm weather and fun hunkering in the cold.  Piper had a very hard time saying good-bye.  She was very emotional with both sets of grandparents.  It took her a few days to settle back in.  Here are a few photos from the rest of our trip.Enjoying some ice-cream in the 80 degree weatherPlaying at the librarymaking forts on the rainy daysPlaying in the wet leavesPiper did a lot of baking at Grandma’s and Grandma Deelo’smaking castles with GrandpaTwo peas in a pod!driving around with Baby Doll

Trick or Treat

What a great night for trick or treating!  We got together with the Bechdel’s for dinner then headed out for candy.  It was a little on the chilly side so Andrew only hit 3 houses.  He was not a fan of his outfit.  Piper was happy to be with her daddy collecting candy.  Cousins photoPiper and EliMicah in his awesome Mario Brothers Car made by Kevin!  Hurrying to collect candy!Looking pretty chilly
