Christmas Lights

We went to the Americana which is an outdoor mall to see all the beautiful Christmas lights.  They have a large fountain that moves to music, an 80 foot Christmas tree and carolers.  Plus, trolley rides around the square .  It was a very festive evening.

School Christmas Show

Today was Piper’s last day of school before Christmas break.  There was a big party to celebrate.  Plus, the kids sang carols to the parents as a little show.  They started with the 12 Days of Christmas and Piper’s part was the 6th day.  She did a great job!  Grandpa arrived just in time to see the show.

The group got a little crazy as the day neared the end.Showing off her room to her proud Grandparents! This was our present from Piper that she made at school.  She even decorated the wrapping paper by using stamps. This is the card she made at school for usThis was another craft she did at school for Christmas

The Nutcracker

This afternoon Grandma and mommy took Piper to the Nutcracker.  This was her first time and she loved it!  After it was over she kept dancing about.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Tonight we celebrated Daddy’s birthday at the Endeavor Pavilion.  It just so happened that Jen’s company’s holiday party was the same night.  So we were able to stroll around the pavilion and take it all in.  What a great place to celebrate!!  Before we left the kids opened presents with Daddy.  Piper loves a birthday!

Ice-Skating

Tonight we took Piper skating for the first time.  We went to an outdoor rink down in Culver City.  At first Piper couldn’t get her balance but after a couple of times around she was getting the hang of it.  She loved every minute!  Poor Andrew wanted to join in on the fun.  Maybe next year.
