Descanso Gardens

DSC_0923We spent a wonderful lunch and afternoon at the Descanso Gardens.  Everything was in bloom. The highlight for the kids was riding the train around the grounds.  It was a  little on the chilly side but still a beautiful last day with Grandma. Spring Break Fun

Piper has been on Spring break this week and has been having lots of fun hanging out with Grandma.  They have been doing lots of things together while mommy is at work and Andrew is at school. Today we all went to Underwood Farms and the Reagan Library.  It didn’t feel like Spring but it was a nice day out.  DSC_0896 Our favorite U-Pick Farm.  The kids rode in the wagon as we headed out into the fieldDSC_0871 Playing at the Kid CorralDSC_0868 DSC_0877 DSC_0884 The picking mapDSC_0898 Strawberry fields foreverDSC_0917Our produce which included red and green lettuce, broccoli, cilantro, sweet onions, snow peas and strawberries.  (and one little radish)DSC_0909 The view from the Reagan LibraryDSC_0903 DSC_0906 The kids favorite spotDSC_0914 The wind was blowing hardIMG_3540We drove through a few rain showers on the way home and saw this beautiful rainbow in the mountain.
