Piper and Andrew have been wanting to go bowling and today was the perfect day since it’s still gloomy out. We had so much fun! Andrew was such a team player. He stood beside whoever was bowling cheering them on.

Fun Day at HPA
I was a busy bee at Piper’s school today. I volunteered in the art room this morning. The kids are still learning about Vincent Van Gogh. The art teacher read a story about him as the kids colored. Things are winding down with only one art class left. This afternoon I helped out with the Author reading. All week the students have been writing their own fairytale story and then today they read them out loud to the parents. It was very fun! Only 8 more days to go until the end of the year. Art room

Piper’s Piano Recital
Piper’s piano recital was today at the Pasadena Main Library. There were about 17 kids ranging from 4 years to high school who played. Piper played a song that she has learned using both hands. Her teacher commended her on being able to harmonize with only playing for 6 months. She said usually her students don’t learn to do that until much later in the lessons.

Junior Golf Camp
This week the kids have been participating in the Junior Golf camp sponsored by the county. It was held at the Altadena Golf course this time. As always it ends in a putting contest. Andrew did great and came in first place for a gold medal. He really took his time and concentrated. Piper also did well and took home a silver medal. It was a another great week of golf!
