Stone Soup

The second grade is performing Stone Soup as the school play this year.  Piper had a speaking part and a singing part.  It was a very cute play with a great message of sharing.IMG_8496 (1) Piper with Francesca and BellaIMG_8494 I love all the commotion in this pictureIMG_8513 Mrs. Shaw’s class IMG_8499 IMG_8504

Sunday Together

We spent the afternoon with Grandma, Grandpa, Rebecca and Mr. Will.  Aunt Becca will be out of town on her birthday and Thanksgiving so Mr. Will got her a cake in the shape of a turkey.  It was so cute!  It was nice we could all be there to help her celebrate! IMG_4861IMG_8487 IMG_8491

Roaming the Gardens

We spent another gorgeous afternoon at the Huntington Gardens.  Each time we go we explore a new area that we haven’t seen in awhile.  Today we found a little bit of Fall.  They also had a special event called Barks and Books where kids can read to dogs.  Piper read to a cutie named Ernie.  IMG_8475 IMG_8469 IMG_8473 IMG_8474 IMG_4851 IMG_4853IMG_8460 IMG_8477 IMG_8480 IMG_8468IMG_8462 IMG_8456

Fall is here!

We are finally experiencing Fall like weather.  It’s been wonderful!

On Monday we went to the Huntington (again!) to roam around.  It was cloudy and even sprinkled a bit while we were eating lunch.  Probably not the best day to see the gardens but the kids had fun!  IMG_8443 Getting some energy outIMG_8446 IMG_8429 Rain over the Chinese GardensIMG_8431 Sun is starting to peak outIMG_8432 Rain up at our house but the sun is shining where we areIMG_8450Exhibit of lightbulbs
