SNOW!

It actually snowed!  It’s still a mystery after such a beautiful warm weekend.  The kids we so giddy when they got up and ran outside as quickly as possible.  I’m sure they can’t wait to get home from school so they can play more.  The snow should be gone by tomorrow and Fall will be back. First snowball of the season.  Our neighbor was not as excited as these two.

Fall time in Colorado

It’s really starting to look and feel like Fall here.  We went out to Louisville for lunch today.  It’s hard to believe they are calling for snow after the beautiful weekend we had.  I hear this is classic Colorado weather.  We can’t wait to see if there is snow on the ground tomorrow.  How exciting!  A park out in Louisville  Trees by our house At Constellation Park  View out to the Rockies

Busy Saturday!

We had a super busy Saturday.  Piper went to the School of Mines in Golden for a Girl Scout function.  The students taught the girls science and engineering at different stations.  It was really well done.  Andrew had a soccer game and unfortunately they lost this week.  After our morning festivities we met our Pasadena neighbors for lunch.  They were out visiting their son.  It was so good to see them.  We miss them terribly!

We had plans to go to Estes Park today but they were diverted due to rain.  We ended up stopping in Boulder for breakfast and then driving to Golden.  In Golden we drove up to Look Out Mountain where Buffalo Bill’s Grave is located.  Beautiful views from up there! Boulder Flatirons in the background.  Look Out Mountain views.   Buffalo Bill’s Grave  Saw this fox on a morning walk. The Painted Lady Butterflies are migrating South.  They are everywhere!
