We had a terrific day at Universal Studios with Aunt Becca, Uncle Tom and Brianna.

Piper has been reading the Harry Potter series and was excited to go to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.  It was really well done!  We had lunch there and rode the rides.  Then we went into Ollivanders Wand shop to look at the wands.  First they put on a small show before you enter and choose one child to participate in a wand pairing ceremony.  It was Piper’s lucky day because they chose her!  The wand actually chose her!  What a special memory! We then walked around Hogsmeade watching Piper cast spells around the town.  It was the highlight of our day.

We also rode the rest of the rides at the park and did the studio tour.  What a memorable day!

Day 1 – We arrived in Burbank Sunday morning.  Daddy picked us up and we headed straight to the Smoke House for brunch.  It was a nice way to start the day with family.  Then we visited with Laura, Brennan, and our old neighbor Mike.  We picked lots of Meyer Lemons at their house.  It’s great to be with our peeps again:).

We went to the Stapleton Egg Hunt today which was a lot of fun.  Also, there was a birthday party out on our mew and the kids were able to play in the bounce house after it was over.  The perks of living on the mew!
