Exciting Saturday!

The day started off hot and ended with a crazy hail and windstorm. Wind gusts were recorded between 60-70 mile an hour! It came on suddenly and left about just as quick! Before that we did a few fun things!

Unfortunately we were not able to save all our plants. They were hit pretty hard with hit with pea size hail.
Another highlight of the day was making Grandma’s famous Oreo Delight
We joined a bird watching group that meets once a month. We learned so much and can identify more birds now. It’s a fun hobby and we can’t wait to go next month!

We took a drive up the mountains for a change of scenery. We took the Squaw Pass from Evergreen to Echo Lake
Echo Lake. It started to rain so we weren’t able to walk around
