Porch Picnic and S’mores

We were hoping to having a picnic in our backyard with the cooler weather but the rain got in the way. Instead we had one on the porch and watched the rain. Then once the rain moved on we had our dessert out back.

Another Hot Day

We lucked out again this Monday for a spot at the pool. There were some dark clouds that rolled by right before it was our time to swim but then the sun came back out. It was another HOT one!

Day Trip to Georgetown

We decided to take a drive up to Georgetown and get out of the 98 degrees in Denver.

Cruising up Guanella Pass to Clear Lake. It was a bit too crowded to fish up there though.

Fishing at Georgetown Lake. It was a beautiful day and view!

Andrew caught a fish which was very exciting!

We stopped into town for an ice cream treat

They had the main street blocked off for pedestrians only.

Cool Clouds

The sunset was pretty spectacular last night. In the distance some areas got a major thunderstorm but we were left with beautiful cloud formations.

Pirates Cove Water Park

It has been one hot week here and we have been so lucky to be able to be in water for most of it. Today we went to Pirate’s Cove Water Park in Englewood. It was a BLAST! They had great water slides, a lazy river, a cute area for little kids and a pool. We wish we could have stayed all day!
