Merry Grinchmas

Today we had a fun filled day full of Grinch themed ideas. We made bath salts, bath bombs and decorated ornaments. We also did a Grinch word search and did a step by step lesson on how to draw the Grinch. Then it wouldn’t be Grinchmas without Grinch themed foods so we made green quesadillas for lunch, Mt. Crumpet cookies and hot chocolate bombs. We also had a Who-ville dinner feast that included the Roast Beast, Santy Claus hats, and pesto flat bread! After all the fun festivities we made a Grinch themed popcorn to go along with the movie. Merry Grinchmas!

The Feast!

We got the kids these adorable hot chocolate bombs that are all the rage. This actually was the inspiration for the Grinch Themed day.

Friday!

It was a cold and snowy Friday. We walked over to get lunch as a treat!
The kids made adorable Snoopy cookies for our movie night.

Andrew was awarded the Balanced Learning Profile for this month. Way to go!!

Winter Wonderland Light Walk

Tonight we walked around Cherry Creek and enjoyed all the beautiful sparkling lights. They also had treat stations set up every so often that included hot chocolate, roasted nuts, cookies and candy. It was a cool evening but a lot of fun to be out.

The hot chocolate station
Our Elf. Yesterday he spent the day zip lining and today we woke up to him helping himself to some hot chocolate and gingersnaps.

Christmas in Color

Tonight we did Christmas in Color which was a drive through light display. It was fun to watch the lights dance with the music and it was so beautiful!

We are ready for the show with our hot chocolate and holiday jammies.
