We are trying to make the most of these last summer days but it’s been hard with smokey hot air. It’s not any fun to be out in so tonight we had a little island party that included making summer themed desserts, painting a craft and a yummy dinner. Then we played a round of Board Game Island on the Wii and watched a movie together.

This morning we went to Anderson Farms to play in their sunflowers. They had 7 different varieties and you could pick any kind you liked. We tried to get one of each. It was really beautiful being among all the flowers!

The air quality has been terrible lately from all the fires burning. It does make for a pretty sunrise though.
