Paris!

Our goal today is to stay up as late as we can to get over our jet lag. What better way than to walk and see the city!

We stayed in the 16th Arrondissement in a spacious Airbnb. It was very close to the Eiffel Tower but tucked away in a residential neighborhood.

Our favorite ice cream! Berthillon on the Ile St. Louis

Two thumbs up for Paris!
We made it! Enjoying an evening dinner at our local cafe. We walked over 23,000 steps today and covered a lot of city. Can’t wait for more adventures tomorow!
Our apartment was tucked back off the street which made it really nice.
Our only key to get in and out of the place

Paris Bound!

We are so excited to be headed to Paris for Uncle Tom’s and Brianna’s wedding!

We were fortunate to be able to upgrade our seats on the way over.
We all got a little sleep in our comfy pods

And we made it! The trip over went very smoothly and we were able to check in early which was a bonus!

You’ve Been Booed

At Halloween time in our neighborhood kids leave small treats for friends anonymously. They call it a Halloween Boo. Once you get booed you pass it along to another neighbor without them knowing. Andrew is about to boo Bella and Apollo.

Glow at the Gardens

For the final hurrah for Halloween we went to Glow at the Gardens. The Botanical Gardens were decorated with lots of pumpkins, lights and other spooky things. We enjoyed our time!

This display was made all out of pumpkins

Skeletons enjoying a lazy river

Again, all out of pumkins!
Cute puns for the graveyard
Really neat pumpkin display. There were more pumpkins that I could photograph

Spooky Scavenger Hunt

Andrew loves scavenger hunts so we made a special one for Halloween. It was all outside!

Reading clues
Finding clues
each clue came with candy to fill his basket
The last clue brought them for hot chocolate bombs and spooky spiders. So much fun!
