The Big Chill

We got blasted with cold air and a little snow. Was a great day to hunker in and make cookies.
Brilliant blue bird sky
It was even too cold for Max to stay out long
Trying to do some last minute wrapping.
Hunkered!
It was so cold no kids or dogs disturbed the snow
And then it was back up to 45 in 2 days.

Grand Time in Grand Lake

We did a little trip up to Grand Lake to get into the holiday spirit.

We first stopped in Rocky Mountain and saw four moose!
One of them walked over to our car and peeked in

It also tried to clean our car but gave up quickly

Then we headed into Grand Lake
We found the perfect hill for sledding
Great views from the top!
