After Andrew learned to ride a bike in Beaver we knew we wanted to get him one for home.  He was very happy!  We are looking forward to family bike rides now.

It was a busy Saturday.  The morning part of the day was spent at the beach and the evening was spent at the Huntington Gardens for their summer program.  It was a great day!

Our fun Fridays are quickly coming to an end.  Today we went to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.  They have a special free membership for kids and one accompanying adult.  It was the perfect place to be on a hot day.  After we walked around we stopped at MILK for some delicious ice-cream.  They had fun running through these wires.  Urban Lights (202 vintage street lamps collected by an artist)  This was a display of hundreds of matchbox cars that raced around the tracks.    A view from the top Painting at the Boone Children’s gallery We walked over to see the La Brea Tar Pits A very fun day!

We made it back home late Wednesday night.  The kids were great on the plane and the ride seemed to go by quickly.  It was a full five hour flight too.  Now we are just regrouping, getting back into routine and dealing with the heat.

What a fun time we had back in Beaver.  Can’t wait to do it again next summer!
