This week the kids are taking free golf lessons through the city.  They were both in the same group which made it very fun for them. This afternoon they practiced putting and chipping.    Instruction on how to hold your club

We had a busy Saturday starting with breakfast at our favorite joint.  Then we were off to Home Depot for the kid’s building project.  They made a flower container just in time for Mother’s Day.  Our afternoon was spent at our friends house.  The kids had fun on the new slip n’ slide.

The kindergarden class hosted today’s school assembly.  They sang a Hello song down on the field.  It was really cute!   One of the papers Piper did at school that we thought would make Grandpa proud.

It’s the best celebrating birthdays with Piper cheering you on.  Piper has always loved everyone’s birthday.  Not just her own.  She begins celebrating with pictures and signs well before the date.  It’s so thoughtful the way she goes above and beyond to make each birthday so special.

This year she made many cards, a sign and took daddy shopping on Saturday for the perfect gifts. She also hosted a picnic in our backyard including fresh flowers she picked. Tonight she helped bake and ice the cake which made it very special.  To note she was up before 7 AM because she couldn’t sleep she was so excited.

I took a half day from work and the kids did a half day at school.  We spent the rest of the afternoon at the beach.  It was a very warm day and a perfect one to be in the water.  We picked daddy up on the way home so he didn’t have to get home so late.  Then we enjoyed a wonderful meal cooked by daddy and Piper.  It was a super fun day!  Birthday sticker she got from school Piper took this  A great way to celebrate a birthday
