We bought a groupon earlier in the winter in hopes of taking the scenic chairlift up to the top of Mt. Baldy to play in the snow.  Well, the snow never came.  But on Friday there was a Spring storm that rolled in and left about 3 inches of snow. So we packed up and headed to the Top of the Notch! It was very foggy and cloudy at the top but the sun did peek out every once and awhile.  The kids had a blast playing and we also enjoyed a yummy lunch at the lodge.  Top of the Notch!   Taking the chairlift to the top Mt. We enjoyed lots of fun at the library late in the afternoon.  It was very special for Piper because she got her own library card today.

Happy Easter!  We enjoyed a very quiet day together.  The kids hunted for their baskets in the morning.  Then we dyed eggs and enjoyed the candy and gifts left by the Bunny.  The kids played all afternoon outside in the warmth.  We even enjoyed our dinner outside which was fun.        Lots of goodies! Easter outfits dying our eggs

Last night we stayed up to see the lunar eclipse.  It was beautiful to watch the moon turn orange.  So glad we had the chance to see that.  (The kids were sleeping soundly as this all happened)
